Ambient rooms are a massive trend in millions of homes worldwide, and it's no surprise. These calming videos bring so much peace and joy to viewers that we decided to create some of our own as part of Walmart’s 2024 holiday campaign.

Created in partnership with Google, Background Joys featured four festive ambient room experiences filled with ASMR-worthy sounds, soothing holiday music, and fun Easter eggs. Plus, for the first time in ambient room history, they were totally shoppable! All the awesome gifts and beautiful decor could be shopped and shipped right from Walmart.

So whether you want to cozy up by the fire in a wintery chalet, dance all night at a colorful holiday party, take a magical ride with Santa's reindeer, or even drop by the iconic Luke's Diner in Stars Hollow for a cup of coffee, there was an ambient room waiting for you.
