In March of 2020, right as Leo Burnett Chicago sent employees home along with offices around the world, we were supposed to do a shoot for Kellogg’s Club Minis. Well, productions shutdown too. So, we quickly pivoted from what as meant to be a live action spot to arguably, what it should have been all along, animation. We reached out to Passion Pictures and had the amazing opportunity to partner with Mark Waring (Animation Director of Wes Anderson’s Isle of Dogs and Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride) to bring the script and vision to life. Mark and the team crafted beautiful characters in CG meant to look like stop motion (which we also couldn’t achieve in quarantine without the crew.)
