Millennials who grew up with Eggo remember the L’Eggo My Eggo campaign with kids fighting over waffles in the morning. But in reality, Eggo isn’t a conflict creator, it is one of the few foods parents feel good about giving AND that kids want to eat. Eggo is a solution to morning chaos and thus the need for a change to our tagline was born– L’Eggo With Eggo.

We even created a tool for parents called The L’Eggometer, an algorithm created from Google and Twitter data that allowed us to track the stress parents were feeling across the internet and provide them with free waffles and help when they needed it most. (Turns out Daylight Savings, Back to School and remembering to DIY your kids Valentines for their school party were all pretty stressful times of year.)
